Blair Strickland

Director’s Certificate

My name is Blair Strickland, and I am excited to join the Legacy Team. I have been in the Early Childhood Education field for 19 years; during that time, I have been a classroom teacher, infant room supervisor, administrator, and Director. I grew up in Connecticut, started my college career at Southern Connecticut State University, transferred to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona, and studied Park and Recreation Management. I hold a Director’s certificate in Early Childhood Education and have worked as a Director or Assistant Director for over 11 years.

I have been married to my husband, Gregory, for 21 years. We met in St. Thomas, USVI, while I was doing an internship for school. After leaving the Caribbean, we moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and then to Colorado in 2008. We have four children, ages 19,17,12, and 9. As a family, we love to travel, hike, cook and spend time together. We attend church at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. My children have been involved in their music and arts programs, youth groups, and mission trips.

When I’m not spending time going to my children’s activities, I love to do kickboxing, work on crafting or see live music.
